Legal
accessibility statement
Effective Date: May 28, 2026
Our Commitment. Laser Precision is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe accessibility is both a legal responsibility and a reflection of our values as a small business serving the Sacramento community. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status. Laser Precision strives to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. We are also committed to compliance with applicable laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act. Some content may not yet fully meet these standards; we are actively working to address known issues.
Measures Taken. Laser Precision has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Designed our website with semantic HTML and proper heading structure
- Provided text alternatives for non-text content where applicable
- Ensured form fields include labels associated with their inputs
- Maintained color contrast ratios consistent with WCAG 2.1 AA recommendations
- Built keyboard-navigable interface elements
- Regularly tested with accessibility evaluation tools
- Committed to ongoing review and remediation
Known Limitations. Despite our best efforts, some areas of our website may not yet be fully accessible. Where this is the case, we work to address issues as they are identified. If you encounter a specific barrier, please notify us so we can prioritize a fix.
Third-Party Content. Some content on our website may be provided by third-party services (such as embedded maps, fonts, social media widgets, or external links to social platforms). Laser Precision does not control the accessibility of third-party content and is not responsible for it. We will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible alternatives upon request.
Assistive Technology Compatibility. Our website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver) and modern web browsers. If you are using older or specialized assistive technology and experience difficulty, please contact us for assistance.
Feedback and Assistance. We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you experience any difficulty accessing content, have questions about accessibility, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: info@laserprecisionca.com
- Subject line: "Accessibility Request" or "Accessibility Complaint"
- Please describe the issue, the page or feature involved, and the assistive technology you are using (if applicable)
Response Time. We aim to respond to accessibility-related inquiries within 5 business days. For complex requests requiring research or remediation, we will provide an initial acknowledgment within 5 business days and follow up with a substantive response or resolution timeline.
Formal Complaint Procedure. If you are not satisfied with our initial response, you may escalate by emailing us with the subject line "Accessibility Complaint - Escalation." Escalated complaints will be reviewed by ownership and responded to within 10 business days. We are committed to resolving accessibility concerns in good faith and working with users to find acceptable solutions.
Alternative Access to Services. If any website content or function remains inaccessible to you, we will provide the requested information or service through alternative means, including email correspondence, telephone consultation upon request, or in-person service at our North Highlands location. No customer will be denied service due to a website accessibility barrier.
Continuous Improvement. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time fix. We regularly review our website using automated tools and manual testing, prioritize remediation based on impact and feasibility, and incorporate accessibility considerations into all future updates and redesigns.
Statement Review. This Accessibility Statement is reviewed periodically and updated as our website and our practices evolve. The Effective Date above reflects the most recent review.
Enforcement Notice. If you believe you have been denied access to goods or services due to a website accessibility issue and have been unable to resolve the matter through our feedback process above, you may have rights under federal and state law. We encourage all users to first contact us directly so we may attempt to resolve any concerns promptly.
